PORT OF SIBUTU
TP Sibutu is situated in Sibutu Island some 20kms north of TP Sitangkai. Both TPs are under the jurisdiction of BP Bongao. Both ports are facing the same channel of about 4.6kms wide.
TPs Sibutu and Sitangkai are very near the ports in Lahad Datu and Semporna. They are centrally located between these ports and BP Bongao, where there is barter trade center.
Port Facility Layout
Facilities include a Pier, about 22m x 146m, with a RORO Ramp, about 9m wide. At the pier-head, a berth-length of about 35m is available.
